We design, develop, and manufacture instruments for use in Life Science facilities monitoring, research, and clinical use and are looking for an Instrument Development Systems Engineering Lead for our Particle Counting and Characterization Team. This position will be located on site at our Loveland, Colorado location.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with product leadership to understand user needs, develop the architecture.

  • Technical leadership of cross functional development team on the project to achieve successful design implementation, including testing and documentation.

  • Supporting project planning activities

  • Ensure the team’s compliance with device regulations and standards

  • Execute quality assurance activities such as risk analysis and technical reviews

    The required qualifications for the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics or equivalent

  • 9+ years of related product development or systems engineering experience

  • 2+ years of experience leading a team to develop new products

  • Experience which demonstrates creating and maintaining product architecture, interfaces, user needs and design inputs

  • Proven analytical skills, problem-solving skills and excellent decision-making skills inclusive of trade-off analysis for proposals to leadership

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Physics or equivalent.

  • Experience leading and working on projects that involve integrated software and hardware components.

  • Instrument development experience in the life sciences domain

  • Experience with Optics &/or Analog Electronics

The salary range for this role is $130K-$160K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
