This role is hybrid and MUST be located nearby one of the following locations and be able to commute to the office 2-3 days every week: Fountain Valley, CA, Loveland, CO or New York City, NY.
Job Purpose/Overview
The P&O Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in leveraging data-driven insights to enhance strategic decision-making and optimize processes within the Human Resources / People & Organization (P&O) department. Collaborating closely with P&O teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, the Data Analyst will utilize various data sources and analytical tools to identify trends, develop models, and provide actionable recommendations. By applying expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and P&O analytics, the successful candidate will contribute to improving people initiatives, talent management, and the overall Associate experience.

Data Strategy
Develop and execute a clear vision and strategy for data analytics initiatives within the P&O department, aligning closely with the organizational goals and objectives.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics to ensure our strategies remain innovative and effective.
Regularly assess the effectiveness of our data strategy, gathering feedback from stakeholders and making adjustments as necessary to drive continuous improvement
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize advanced analytical techniques to collect, analyze, and interpret P&O data from various systems to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
Automate and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate P&O insights to stakeholders, adhering to data policies and procedures.
Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on key P&O metrics, such as associate turnover, performance, engagement, and diversity.
Lead the planning, execution, and coordination of data analytics projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Design and implement analytical models and algorithms to predict and forecast people-related outcomes, driving data-driven decision-making
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Collaborate with P&O leaders to identify business problems and develop analytical approaches to solve them.
Translate complex data analyses into actionable insights and recommendations for P&O strategies and initiatives.
Conduct scenario analysis and provide data-driven recommendations for workforce planning, talent management, and associate engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with P&O leaders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics-driven P&O strategies that align with organizational objectives.
Participate in Petcare Data & Analytics community and network with other BU Analytics / Strategy teams within the Mars ecosystem to share insights and best practices
Partner with IT, data engineering, and business intelligence teams to optimize data infrastructure and reporting capabilities ensuring data integrity and accessibility
Work closely with the P&O Operations team to maintain data quality and integrity in systems and dashboards by establishing routine dashboard audits and providing recommendations on how to leverage data elements more efficiently to achieve desired analytics
Participates in initiatives to improve the overall effectiveness of data utilization, data accuracy, reporting and analysis capabilities
Lead change management efforts to scale P&O analytics and education across the P&O team and the wider enterprise, driving adoption and proficiency in data-driven decision-making
May be asked to participate in enterprise initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, HR Analytics or a related field preferred
5-7 years’ of experience in Data Analytics required
Must have strong experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and HR analytics and reporting
Strong understanding of the HR data landscape and the functions and processes that produce this data, including existing challenges and best practices.
Familiarity with HR systems and data sources (e.g., Workday, data warehousing and other cloud platforms)
Relevant industry experience a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to prepare ad-hoc reports.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerBI (or equivalent) and SQL capabilities
Experience with statistical tools such as R, Python, SPSS, etc. a plus
Knowledge with HRIS preferred, Workday a plus

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a keen eye for detail
Strong communication skills to present complex data findings in a clear, concise and non-technical manner
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
The Target Pay Range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget. There is also a differential based on location.
