We are currently seeking a Application Scientist who will be responsible for developing methods, authoring application notes, and speaking at key conferences. As a “Subject Matter Expert”, you support lead generation campaigns (content generation), develop sales and marketing collateral, and participate in roll-out for training.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop cell culture applications with deep understanding of the workflow and customers’ view/ experience in mind. Application areas of interest include, but are not limited to Immunology, Cell culture, High Throughput Screening and Drug Discovery

  • Manage collaborative relationships with customers for generation of application notes

  • Generate sales and marketing collateral (e.g. webinars) on time, to support commercial marketing

  • Author application notes and white papers

  • Work with the field applications team to track, evaluate and develop application opportunities arising from interactions with customers

The required qualifications for the job include:

  • PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related fields, or MS with +2 or BS with 4+ years of recent laboratory experience.

  • Ability to follow established research procedures without direct supervision. This includes designing experiments, conducting and analyzing experiments and preparing report outs.

  • Experience in mammalian cell/tissue culture, cell-based assays, screening assays and microscopy platforms

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in programming and operating automated scientific instruments is preferred.

  • Experience in customer-facing projects is desired.

  • Experience with products from the Cell health portfolio, like the Vi-Cell BLU viability analyzer

The salary range for this role is $65,000-$85,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
