RN Nurse Manager
Full-Time
Village Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of nurses and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care. The Registered Nurse Manager will be expected to lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to patient-centered care, integrity, and professionalism.
Village Behavioral Health is a psychiatric residential treatment center that offers a full spectrum of treatment options for children and adolescents ages 10-17. A uniqueness of Village Behavioral Health is that we use nature as part of our therapeutic process. We are nestled in Louisville, TN right on the Tennessee River spread out over 65 wooded acres.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of nurses, ensuring that they have the resources and support needed to deliver high-quality patient care.- Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow.- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.- Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with our organization's mission and values.- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote patient safety and satisfaction.- Provide direct patient care, including triage, IV infusion, and tube feeding, as needed.- Conduct spinal taps and airway management as required.- Oversee the care of patients in the primary care and senior care settings, including behavioral health patients.- Ensure that all care is delivered in accordance with HIPAA regulations and in the operating room setting.Manage the care of patients who require complex interventions, including senior care patients.
Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Tennessee Registered Nurse.
Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
Four or more years of nursing experience required.
One or more years’ experience in behavioral health preferred.
One or more years’ leadership or management experience required.
Master's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.
Proven leadership experience, including experience as a nurse manager or nurse supervisor.
Strong knowledge of nursing practices, policies, and procedures.
Ability to effectively manage a team of nurses and prioritize tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with primary care, and behavioral health patients.
Knowledge of airway management and spinal tap procedures.
Experience with IV infusion and tube feeding.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and operating room procedures.
