Responsible for maintaining an aesthetically pleasing and functional lodge atmosphere.

Duties and Responsibilities: Mowing lawns. Trimming hedges. Maintaining sprinkler and irrigation systems. Preparing outdoor areas for various weather conditions by weatherproofing, covering outdoor furniture with tarps, tying down unsecured items, etc. Maintaining gardens and lawns, including planting, fertilizing, weeding, soil conditioning, mulching, and applying pesticides. Operating and maintaining garden and landscaping equipment. Assisting kitchen staff to unload food supplies from delivery trucks. Properly washing and storing all dishes, utensils, cooking instruments and cutting boards. Mopping and sweeping the kitchen areas as required. Preparing meal ingredients for the cook, which includes washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients. Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards.

Job Specifications or Qualifications:  Sound knowledge of food safety standards and procedures. Familiarity with sprinkler systems and landscaping equipment. Knowledge of gardening techniques.
