You’ll also support process improvement efforts towards flexible and lean manufacturing, enabling the Factory of Tomorrow with technologies like IIOT, software-defined networks, and digital solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport a multi-shift operation with flexible hours, including weekends if necessaryProvide technical support for IT applications, infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user productivity toolsInterface with corporate IT and business owners to prioritize improvement effortsResolve incidents, execute business continuity plans, and support escalationsMaintain and integrate applications and hardwareAssist the Site IT Manager with managing assignments and workloadDevelop and maintain accurate support documentationSupport local network equipment in a Cisco-based environmentSupport local servers in both physical and virtual environments (Windows and Linux)Support Factory of Tomorrow deployments using IIOT, iOS, software-defined networks, mobile, and Android equipmentSkills RequiredAbility to work on-site with flexible hoursTechnical support experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExperience with network equipment and server supportAbility to develop and maintain support documentationExperience RequiredEagerness to learn and practice within defined IT operationsStrong desire to learn manufacturing and business practicesUnderstanding of computer-based tools and computing infrastructureWillingness to work in a high-pressure production environmentCommitment to supporting a 24x7 operationWillingness to adapt to new technologies and work in a semi-tempered plant floor environmentEducation RequiredHigh School diploma EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
