Reporting to the Director of Provider Network Operations, the Senior Provider Network Relations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Provider Relations Department.

The Sr. Manager will develop a cohesive, fully engaged team that has a firm understanding of their role in helping the organization achieve its mission and strategic goals. Manages and maintains ongoing relationships, quality, and customer service with existing providers nationwide.We are looking for an extremely motivated individual who will approach this role with a high level of creativity and collaboration. A solid contracting and negotiation background, effective management skills, and a positive attitude are essential. The ability to manage by influence in a matrixed environment; operate with transparency and execute the vision of the business unit.

Ideal candidate will be local to the Cape Canaveral, Florida office. Will consider nationwide remote.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing the provider network yielding a geographically and cost competitive, high quality, stable provider network.
  • Directs and oversees the negotiations of network provider service agreements and single case agreements.
  • Contracts involve non-standard arrangements that require a high level of negotiation skills.
  • Serves as key resource for other contracting staff and provides mentoring and on-the-job training and development.
  • Detects network gaps and/or shortfalls and coordinates recruitment campaigns.
  • Ensures that communication with network facilities and/or providers, is maintained, to encourage quality participation in the Acuity provider network.
  • Responsible for the timely identification and resolution of escalated facility and/or provider issues and/or quality concerns, ensuring follow up plans and interventions are timely and responsive, and supports positive partnerships with Acuity clients and network facilities.
  • Oversees quarterly program reviews, facility quality reporting, examinee survey, and department weekly reporting. This includes oversight and monitoring of key operational metrics to ensure Acuity provider network participants are meeting performance expectations.
  • Responsible for analysis and explanation of contractual guidelines and policies to ensure providers are properly educated on company and client procedures.
  • Responsible for issue resolution as relates to contract performance, quality and/or customer service.
  • Develops and maintains department operational workflows.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 10+ years of combined contracting and negotiations, network development, provider relations experience, or program management
  • 3+ years' management experience concurrent required
  • Ability to maintain a positive team culture in a hybrid environment
  • Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong sales, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with high level focus on detail and quality
  • Must be self-starter able to work with minimal supervision and direction.
  • Travel may be required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in business (MBA) or Health Care Administration or related field.
  • 10+ years provider relations and/or provider network/contracting experience.

Other Requirements

  • May participate in interdepartmental project groups or task forces to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain a specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, contract awards, and new policy requirements.
  • Performs duties in a safe manner.
  • Follows the corporate safety policy.
  • Ensures safe operating conditions within an area of responsibility.
  • Identifies "close calls" and/or safety concerns to supervisory personnel.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  • Assists in the active implementation of company initiatives to ensure compliance with OSHA VPP, ISO, JCAHO, AAAHC, and other mandated regulations/standards.
  • May serve on the OSHA VPP, Safety, and Wellness Committees.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.
