Humana Inc. seeks a Software Engineer in Louisville, KY.Duties: • Standardize the quality assurance procedure for software. [15%] • Oversee testing and debugging and develop fixes. [10%] • Create the technical design document that provides details of the entire project process including the background for the process being set up, data source, data mapping, data types required, output file formats, file naming convention requested, Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) set up, job scheduling frequency and time. [20%] • Create process workflow design diagram to include in the technical design document to provide an overview of the process. [40%] • Deploy the packages on to the test server and create various test cases to ensure that the process is running as expected. [15%]100% telecommuting permitted within the US. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, plus 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Data and Reporting Professional, Data Analyst, or related roles.Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: • Structured Query Language (SQL) Server Integration Services;• T-SQL; and • Data Modeling.Must have 2 years of experience creating design documents with data definitions, process flows, query logic, and software specifications.Must have any experience with Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS), Enrollment, and Health Care Provider domains.
