In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our supplier relationships, from initial identification through continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will drive our strategy for dual sourcing, tariff mitigation, and business development, making a tangible impact on our products and processes.

How You'll Create Possibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Develop expertise in Ice & Water (I&W) within the Supplier Quality (SQ) organization, guiding New Product Introduction (NPI) execution and qualification.

· Collaborate with global teams to establish and execute I&W strategy with key partners.

· Lead all quality engineering aspects for assigned commodity suppliers, including qualification, continuous improvement, and project management.

· Utilize technical knowledge to optimize product designs and manufacturing processes with suppliers.

· Drive problem-solving initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma tools, ensuring product excellence and reliability.

· Conduct Critical Part Risk Reviews to enhance system performance and reliability.

· Interface with cross-functional teams to deliver business initiatives and support design change projects.

· Identify new processes, tools, and industry contacts to advance business objectives.

· Champion the use of quality tools and data to drive improvements across all suppliers.

· Lead projects involving supplier moves, process changes, and material improvements.

· Drive permanent resolutions for manufacturing and consumer issues caused by supplier defects.

· Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards at supplier facilities.

· Prepare executive summaries for Appliance Leadership Team, simplifying complex information effectively.

· Manage Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements associated with changes.

· Perform annual audits to monitor supplier Quality Management System (QMS) compliance.

· Identify cost reduction opportunities across the supplier base and develop control systems for sustainable improvements.

· Influence global supplier strategies leveraging expertise in Ice & Water commodities.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications:

· Engineering or Technical degree (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) or equivalent experience.

· Minimum 5 years of Supply Chain, Quality, or technical experience in a manufacturing environment.

· Strong background in statistical tools for process and product development and control.

· Proficiency in reading and understanding prints, dimensions, and tolerances.

· Experience with problem-solving tools and techniques.

· Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.

· Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with Ice & Water or electro-mechanical component manufacturing processes.

· Demonstrated ability to simplify complex information for executive audiences.

· Prior international work experience & multi-lingual proficiency.

· Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.

· Graduate of GEA training programs.

· Master’s degree or ASQ Certifications.
