CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business, supply chain or technical discipline

  • 5-8 years of related work experience

  • Proven record of driving cost savings throughout a complex organization

  • Ability to structure and manage complex projects

  • Customer-focused with excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills

JOB DETAILS:

  • DIRECT HIRE

  • $85k-$95k

  • 1st shift

  • Located in Louisville, KY 40210

  • Make sourcing recommendations based on financial analysis, cost structure of categories, supplier’s alignment with goals and strategies

  • Identification and selection of qualified suppliers, including establishment of credit terms

  • Track and cycle-count inventory levels of certain managed commodities in order to ensure proper safety stocks are maintained to support production

  • Monitor delivery schedules and track order receipts

  • Preparation of bid packages from specifications
