Humana Inc. seeks a Senior Automation Engineer in Louisville, KY.Duties: Design, program, simulate, and test automated processes. Create design specifications and other documents for Humana’s Center of Excellence. Work with enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools and different scripting languages. Develop automations for high complexity manual processes for different stakeholders. Conduct feasibility testing with various automation technologies. Perform peer code reviews. Perform maintenance and refactor automation in production.100% telecommuting permitted throughout the U.S.Requires a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field, plus 3 years of experience as a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer, Automation Engineer, or related role. In lieu of Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field, plus 3 years of experience as a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer, Automation Engineer, or related role, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field, plus 5 years of experience as a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer, Automation Engineer, or related role.This role requires 3 years of experience with each of the following:• Programming principles including Object Oriented Development, Parameterized Functions, String Manipulation, Loops, and Conditionals;• XML;• REST APIs; and• Process Documentation.This role additionally requires 2 years of experience with SQL commands.Pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.40 hours/week.
