Staffmark Investment LLC Production Supervisor in Louisville, Kentucky

Shift Details:

  • Pay: $30-$35 per hour
  • Day Shift Hours (starting): 7 AM - 7 PM, Monday-Wednesday
  • Night Shift Hours (starting): 8 PM - 8 AM, Sunday-Tuesday
  • Rotating schedules working 3 days one week and 4 days the next week

As a key member of our management team, the Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in enhancing quality, delivery, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include preparing and monitoring production schedules, ensuring product specifications and quality standards are met, optimizing manpower and machinery utilization, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and implement sustainable changes.

Job Duties and Expectations:

  • Collaborate with the Production Manager on strategic plans and attend daily production meetings.
  • Lead recruitment efforts and develop employees to achieve their full potential.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety policies and oversee Paylocity for attendance management.
  • Partner with the Quality team and Continuous Improvement liaison to enhance production methods and equipment performance.
  • Coordinate with other Production Supervisors to ensure seamless operations across all production lines.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, and you should have at least 3 years of supervisory experience in production, manufacturing, or distribution.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, and advanced knowledge of production processes and machinery.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative work environment and drive results through effective management practices.
