POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The Private Banking Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the phones are answered, walk in traffic is greeted and directed, providing administrative support to multiple levels of management, as well as other associates within the department. In addition, this role will work directly with the Private Banking Personal Banker and respective Supervisor to ensure that all Depository and Account Maintenance needs are met within the Private Banking Department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum of 3 years administrative experience preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years in customer service preferred.
* Proficiency in Salesforce preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, and Power Point required.
* NMLS registration required
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet and receive clients at the front door with a positive and helpful attitude.
* Answer telephone and direct the caller to appropriate associate within the department. May include transferring the caller to an associate's voicemail when associate is unavailable.
* Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail for pickup.
* Responsible for ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies for department.
* Handle loan and deposit maintenance for department.
* Prepare and pull daily, weekly, and monthly departmental reports as requested.
* Manage requested reporting including distribution of those reports to Officers and Management.
* Regularly support Private Banking Personal Banker and Private Banking Personal Banker Supervisor through execution of wire transfers, client and account maintenance, opening and closing of accounts, online banking assistance and maintenance and other tasks as determined by Management.
* Work with Credit and Debit Card Teams to resolve client issues and address administrative needs.
* Work with Treasury Management Officers on mutual client issue resolution and administrative needs.
* Ensure that your work area, bank lobby and stockrooms are neat and organized at all times.
* Know how to use and set up items on SharePoint.
* Coordinate meetings with internal departments and team members and external entities, including vendors, suppliers, and business partners.
* Liaise with Special Events on meetings as needed.
* Handle general inquiries and follow up, help with problem solving, research and customer service.
* Organize and prepare presentation documents and meeting materials.
* Craft, edit, and distribute internal and external communications.
* As needed, support Director of Private Banking, Managing Director of Private Banking and Commercial Lending with administrative duties.
* Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, and distance vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
* Travel between Republic Banking facilities as required.
* Occasional out-of-town travel may be required.
* Flexible work schedule that will include some evenings, weekends, and overtime.
* Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
This position is subject to SAFE Act Registration Requirements.
