The hourly range for this role, based in Kentucky is $24.80 to $34.10. The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries Hourly Rates are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

The role for the Mechanical/Electrical Tech is to work at Rabbit Hole's facility and support bottling, barreling,warehousing, distilling, and facility needs.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of plant equipment
  • Troubleshoot and modify equipment and processes
  • Repair breakdowns
  • PLC hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Assist in operations, maintain parts inventory and preventative maintenance schedule
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
  • Replace/repair pumps, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveying systems
  • Perform pipe welding (stainless, aluminum, black iron, copper, brass)
  • Log updates in slack
  • Operate forklift
  • Carry out preventive maintenance
  • Replace/repair manual valves, flow transmitters, control valves, temp transmitters, and pressure transmitters
  • Record water samples for softener, RO, DA, boiler, and tower water
  • Service, clean, and replace filters for HVAC for successful job performance
  • Cleaning and servicing chillers
  • Troubleshoot and repair operation breakdowns
  • Learn all operations systems
  • Test safety and blowdown of boilers
  • Perform all tasks with safety as first priority
  • Install, modify, troubleshoot, and run new electric
  • Design, plan, and build various pieces of equipment throughout RH's 3 campuses
  • Service any maintenance needs at 3 campuses
  • Work with contractors on projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of low/high voltage, AC/DC, single phase and 3 phase
  • Knowledge of boiler and steam processes
  • Respect for safety protocols
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Operating equipment including, but not limited to, fork truck, scissor lift, JLG lift
  • Proper PPE
  • Computer skills (word, excel, etc.)

Education & Experience

  • Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance or applicable field
  • Journeyman's Electrical Certification
  • Journeyman's Maintenance Certification
  • Welding Certifications
  • 5 years pipe fitting/machinist experience


Physical Requirements

  • Lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis from floor to shoulder height
  • Climb a minimum of two flights of stairs in succession
  • Able to bend, stoop, and reach overhead
  • Exposure to hot and cold environments
  • Range of mobility (stooping, crawling, twisting, climbing, confined space)
  • Ability to push/pull/lift to 80 lbs
  • Climbing ladders, scaffolding, working at heights
  • Other tasks as assigned
