We are looking for a Tool Crib Manager to oversee our Tool Crib operations and support maintenance teams in minimizing production downtime. This role is crucial in managing spare parts, tools, and vendor inventories, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the maintenance crib.

How You'll Create Possibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Tool Crib Operations: Oversee daily operations, maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring the crib is organized and well-stocked.

  • Optimize Inventory: Manage stock levels, set reorder points, conduct cycle counts, and remove obsolete inventory.

  • Vendor Relations: Be the primary contact for vendor-managed inventory, resolving quality issues and approving purchase requests.

  • Team Leadership: Direct and train crib attendants, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with GEA and OSHA standards, making sure your team has the right tools and equipment.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Maintenance related field with 2 year of inventory management or 5 years of experience in inventory management or maintenance parts/crib experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience with inventory management software

  • Excellent communication skills including communicating directly with vendors

  • Proven time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize

Preferred Experience:

  • 1-2 years managing employees

  • Purchasing experience in manufacturing setting
