Humana, Inc. seeks Lead Solutions Architect in Louisville, KY.Duties: Translate business needs into technical systems solutions. Integrate hardware, software and network interfaces to form a system. Advise executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and work under minimal supervision. Use independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determine the best course of action. Maintain the technology roadmap for Clinical Care Systems that informs key strategic decisions related to technical solutions. Lead technical discussions with business partners through ideation phase of initiatives that help formulate the project scope, and develop presentations and reports to support the case. Work closely with Cloud partners to help drive the cloud adoption for Clinical segment. Identify existing business risks related to the implementation of the proposed technical solution. Lead technical discussions and serve as liaison between Engineering teams and Humana partners and vendors. 100% telecommuting permitted within the U.S.This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field plus 8 years of experience as an Application Architect, Technology Application Architect, Software Engineer or a related role.This role requires 6 years of experience in the following:• Progressive information technology directly related to architecture/engineering, information security, or other specialized technology field.• Designing and building APIs to connect systems in near real-time.• Integrating with multiple platforms and technologies.• Leading and developing others by providing technical guidance and leadership to teams.This role requires 5 years of experience in the following:• Building solutions around large scale vendor provided, cloud-native SaaS relationship management and BPM systems, particularly around Salesforce.• Working on code quality techniques, security issues, performance optimization, scalability, resiliency and implications across multiple platforms.• Agile, Lean, SAFe, DevOps, DataOps, DevSecOps delivery practices and methodologies.This role requires 2 years of experience in the following:• Salesforce and related technologies such as Salesforce Connect, Heroku, Mulesoft, or Lightning components. Pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.40 hours per week, $145,000 per year. Must also have authorization to work permanently in the United States.
