Job Description Purpose of the Job and Expected outcome Plan, organize, and supervise in the warehouse and assist in Kit Packing activities. KPICS is responsible for completion of training, assigning and evaluating assigned staff, all while communicating with leadership. Key Accountabilities, Duties, and Responsibilities - Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies.- Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned employees; assign expectations and responsibilities to the staff they oversee.- Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required; maintain inventory of training records; file records as required.- Monitor and update Kit Packing warehousing systems; operate a computer to enter data, correct errors and control key screens as required.- Receive, unpack, pack, load, issue, store and deliver materials, supplies or equipment.- Supervise the processing of requisitions and requests to invoice for reimbursements of supplies; complete requisitions for needed materials to assure adequate stock levels.- Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required; maintain inventory of items in the warehouse; file records as required; supervise the assembly of inventory printouts and catalogs as required.- Operate and demonstrate use of specialized equipment as necessary; ensure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of any equipment in their assigned department.- Monitor automated Kit Packing systems; operate a computer to enter data, correct errors and control key screens as required.- Observe health and safety regulations; maintain a clean, safe and orderly department.- Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures; advise of budget-related needs; assist in the bid process for various supplies as required.- Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.- Communicates often with leadership team to facilitate labor sharing to maximize labor to revenue (LTR).- Maintain regular attendance on site and all assigned meetings.- Perform other duties as assigned by either KPM or the Kit Packing Director. Qualifications Knowledge, Abilities, and Requirements - Space utilization and inventory techniques.- Maintain inventory.- Kit Packing operations, procedures, equipment and terminology.- Health and safety regulations.- Record-keeping techniques.- Principles and practices of training and providing work direction.- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.- Automated warehouse inventory system.- Train, supervise and evaluate personnel.- Utilize space efficiently and effectively.- Lift, move, sort and store objects.- Plan and schedule work.- Work independently with little direction.- Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.- Valid driver's license.- Excellent Command of the English Language - spoken and written.- Able to prioritize quickly under pressure and has outstanding attention to detail.- Read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Position Specifications and Job Requirements Experience - Minimum 5 years' work experience in a production environment.Education - Kit Packing United States: Minimum Associate degree.- Kit Packing Netherlands: Minimum MBO degree.- Equivalent experience, certifications, training, or military experience is considered and evaluated accordingly.
