Job Description

Danfoss in Louisville, Kentucky has an opening for a Inventory/Gasket Coordinator. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create Daily Priority Lists for assigned subdepartments

  • Delegate workload for assigned subdepartments according to priority and availability

  • Work with other members of Leadership in assuring deadlines are meet

  • Work with other Coordinators / Departments to ensure proper flow

  • Account for absences by utilizing flexible manning

  • Record teams Hourly Registration

  • Record completed orders and report to Production Planner

  • Record scrap generated and tag appropriately and report to Supply Chain Team

  • Record Return to Stock and tag appropriately

  • Assist in maintaining tools and equipment.

  • Assist other areas of production when and where required by supervisor/manager.

  • Report all Production totals to Manager daily

  • Work with Leadership team on Continuous Improvement Projects

  • Ensure team is accountable to the rules and regulations of the facility

  • Maintain, monitor and foster an environment of good housekeeping

  • Maintain, monitor and foster an environment of safety in the work place.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED

  • Ability to carry out all required processes in assigned area with minimum supervision.

  • Understanding of types of components used in assigned area and ability to tell the difference between items

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team

  • Material Handler Certified (Preferred)
