We are looking for a driven individual with strong communication skills to join our team as an Insurance Consultant

What you'll do:

  • Insurance Consultants provide customer support via phone and digital channels, including but not limited to answering client questions and concerns related to coverages, plan comparisons, employee deductions, employee enrollment, billing, and benefit platform support.

  • Answer participant level questions and provide self-service guidance related to benefit eligibility, networks, coverages, and prescription/doctor search.

  • Process requested policy changes and enrollments with Insurance Carriers and General agencies.

  • Investigate, research, analyze and resolve complex client issues and advise clients based on group health market and product knowledge.

  • Identify and provide recommendations on additional lines of coverage and agency managed benefits administration tools.

  • Understand ADP products inclusive of payroll and ADPIA relationship.

  • Develop and maintain effective written and verbal communication to ensure satisfaction and world class service.

  • Achieve and maintain agreed upon levels of service.

  • Maintain all required insurance licenses and complete required appropriate continuing education courses.

  • 1-3 years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of client service experience

  • Must have or receive Life / Health insurance or Property & Casualty producers license within 30 days of employment. ADP will support successful candidates in the testing process.

  • Very strong communication skills.

Preferable Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred License: Property & Casualty if not licensed must obtain within 30 days as a condition of employment.
