Travel Injection Mold Process Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Process Technician. The duties for this role include troubleshooting and operating molding machines and robotic arm tooling, using overhead cranes, setting up machine programs, and changing machines over for different products. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working 20+ hours of overtime every week.

• This role is based in a climate-controlled pristine production facility.

• Option to go home every 8 weeks for a week at a time

• $700 a week in untaxed per diem

Must Have Skills

· Sets and cycles molds. Operating Nachi, Yaskawa, and Starr3-7 axis machines

· Troubleshoots all molding machinery and their accessories.

· Assists maintenance department in machine repair.

· Edit programs for various robotic machines

· Tests new molds, and provides the other departments with the test shots/results.

· Approves all cycle changes made, and notifies shift supervisor of all cycle and routing changes.

· Operate overhead cranes (90+ tons)

Preferred Skills

• Ability to troubleshoot

• Comfortability with changeovers

• Ability to use setup programs

• Comfortability with using robotic arm tooling and overhead cranes

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s). Need to be 100 miles away from the job site to be considered for Per Diem.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Paris, Illinois.
