HVAC Journeyman - Louisville, KY

Description:

• Looking for a HVAC Journeyman to complete preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on facility HVAC equipment in a commercial setting

• Service equipment such as air filters, furnaces, heat pumps, chillers, boilers, air conditioning units, ventilation systems, air quality systems, compressors, and humidifiers/dehumidifiers.

• Candidate will also help out with other facility maintenance practices, such as plumbing fixtures, lighting, drywall, etc (will be trained on these aspects if necessary).

Qualifications:

• HVAC service/installation experience in commercial settings.

• Journeyman card highly preferred, but not required.

• EPA Universal Certification is preferred, but not required.

• Kitchen and coolers experience is preferred, but not required.

Details/Benefits:

• $27-30/Hour

• 1st Shift: 7am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday

• 2 weeks of vacation time

• 11 paid holidays

• From May through August, Fridays are worked for 4 hours, but paid for 8!

• On-call work:

• Typically occurs once every three months or so (mostly during cold months).

• If you are able to troubleshoot the issue over the phone, you are automatically paid for 2 hours worth of work.

• If it is a bigger issue and you have to come in, you are automatically paid for 4 hours worth of work.
