Job Description

A client in the Louisville, KY area is looking for a System Administrator. This person will serve as a primary resource for meeting the systems needs of the IT Security team. This person will be responsible for interacting with the Security team for the implementation of security and monitoring applications, and installing, administering, and troubleshooting the organizations security solutions as they require data resources. They'll also be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of system uptime with minimum interruptions, support Microsoft and Unix server operating systems, and various applications while implementing new security tools and remediating identified security risks. About 60% of this person's day to day will be spent in SCCM conducting patching and vulnerability mitigation. The best candidate for this opportunity will be very strong within SCCM and well versed using active directory, VMWare, and DNS. Based on experience, the salary ranges from $80k-$100k.

Skills and Requirements

2-3 years of System Administrator experience

SCCM experience (patching, vulnerability mitigation, & deploying applications)

VMWare experience

DNS experience (Domain name service)

Active Directory experience

Great communication, High efficiency with tickets Certifications (MCP, VCP, MS Sys Admin, CISCO, DELL, Pure Storage Certification)

Hardware troubleshooting (AP, Dell, Cisco)
