Trane is seeking a Connected Services Apprentice in Louisville, KY.

In this unique role on our Digital Services Team, you will learn to leverage HVAC knowledge and Controls skills to analyze, remotely diagnose, and optimize a variety of connected commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.

Work arrangement: This position will start fully in person out of our Louisville, KY office with the possibility of becoming Hybrid.

What you’ll be doing:

A Connected Services Apprentice will be part of the Trane Digital Services Team and will work in collaboration with team members as well as customers. This is a unique position dedicated to remotely supporting Trane Intelligent Services and Connected Mechanical customers.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Helpdesk customer support

• Checking systems for operational integrity

• Making small-scale adjustments to building automation systems

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are critical to the success of the Connected Services Apprentice role.

What you bring to the table:

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months

• Entry level HVAC knowledge/experience.

• IT/Network understanding – knowledge of IP/subnet/gateway and DNS importance.

• Ability to communicate effectively with other IT professionals.

• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable with hand-held devices (i.e. Smartphone, iPad).

• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

• A strong desire to learn a trade and directly impact the world around you.

Base Pay Range: $18 - 25 / Hourly
