We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of carpentry and general labor tasks. Carpenters will work closely with project managers, architects, and other tradespeople to ensure that all work is completed on time and to the highest standards of quality.Primary Duties:Perform carpentry work according to required specifications and blueprintsConstruct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboardMeasure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materialsAssist with concrete forming, tile laying, masonry work, and roof repairsUtilize power tools and hand tools effectively and safelyConduct heavy lifting tasks as neededRestore and renovate structures as directedExperience:The successful candidate should possess the following skills:Proficiency in plumbing, concrete forming, tile laying, and roof repairsAbility to read and interpret schematics and blueprintsExperience with assembling structures using various materialsKnowledge of masonry work and concrete forming techniquesCompetence in using power tools for cutting, shaping, and joining materialsPreferred Skills:Experience in heavy lifting tasksFamiliarity with restoration projectsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 1 year of experience in carpentry.Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other design documents.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Able to use common hand tools and power tools.Other Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and dust.Must have valid driver’s license and supply own transportation; travel required.Have small hand tools as required.Learn the position and basic responsibilities within 30 days.Competitive Salary and Benefit Package for Proven LeadersJob Type: Full-timePay: $28.00 - $31.25 per hourExpected hours: 40 - 50 per weekBenefits:Health, Dental and Vision insuranceLife & Disability insuranceSimple IRA with company matchPaid time offPerformance bonusMileage reimbursementSchedule:Monday - Friday on site8-hour shiftDay shiftEvenings and weekends as neededExperience:Professional (paid) carpentry: 1 years (Required)License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)OSHA 10 (Preferred)Ability to Commute:Louisville, KY (Required)Willingness to travel:25% (Required)Work Location: On-site and in-person
