Description We are in search of an Audit Manager - Public to join our team based in Louisville, Kentucky. This role is fundamental in the oversight of day-to-day audit and assurance engagements, and ensuring the accurate execution of accounting and auditing procedures. You'll also be expected to foster strong relationships within the team and keep your team updated on the status of assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the day-to-day activities of audit and assurance engagements

• Execute accounting and auditing procedures with precision

• Foster a robust working environment within the team

• Keep your team apprised of the assignment status

• Deliver quality work and attentive service to our clients

• Utilize accounting software systems and audit programs effectively

• Take part in audit engagements and audit plans

• Uphold accounting functions and budget processes

• Display strong problem-solving abilities

• Maintain attention to detail while juggling multiple tasks. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of three years of experience in the role of an Audit Manager - Public or a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with Audit Program is necessary

• Familiarity with CaseWare is mandatory

• Must have experience with CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax

• Should have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions

• Previous experience with Audit Engagements is required

• Must have a strong background in Auditing

• Experience with Audit Plans is necessary

• Should be familiar with Budget Processes
