Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Louisville, Kentucky
Description We are inviting applications for the role of Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Louisville, Kentucky. As an integral member of our team, you will be instrumental in managing and overseeing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all operations. This role is set within the bustling financial services industry and offers an exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the maintenance of all accounting records, with a focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and the general ledger.
• Review and record payroll activity in the general ledger, ensuring reconciliation with quarterly 941 tax filings.
• Efficiently manage the processing of accounts payable invoice payments.
• Oversee the preparation and distribution of annual and monthly tuition and fee billings.
• Set up and manage parent accounts for monthly ACH payments, ensuring smooth transactions.
• Maintain and update monthly statement of cash flows through regular bank statement reconciliation.
• Prepare all necessary schedules for the annual financial audit, liaising with the public accounting firm as required.
• Supervise the Business Office administrative assistant, delegating tasks as necessary.
• Handle the preparation, recording, and processing of all benefit plan payments.
• Utilize various accounting software systems, like ADP and BlackLine, to streamline accounting functions. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounting Manager/Supervisor role
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledge of BlackLine software is preferred
• Familiarity with Concur expense management system
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Proven experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Solid understanding of Auditing principles
• Familiarity with Billing Functions
