Addiction Recovery Care Event Coordinator in Louisa, Kentucky

We are hiring an Event Coordinator for our growing team! The Event Coordinator supports  the booking, management, and cleanup of events. During the event, a crew member may help supervise event activities. They may also observe attendees and ensure their safety and enjoyment during the event.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day operations of 3 Sisters event business including external events, ARC events, Mountain Movers Theatre Company events, and other Downtown Louisa events.

  • Coordinate employees to ensure inventory, delivery, and set up occur for all events as scheduled.

  • Serve as the contact point as a vendor for all ARC events, working in conjunction with ARC Communications team.

  • Work in conjunction with all entities of MSI to coordinate Downtown Louisa/Inez events, both external and internal to ARC.

  • Execute contracts with vendors and clients.

  • Measure the success of events and plan for improvements on processes.

  • Answer sales inquiries.

  • Attend various trade shows and assigned sales trips with accurate follow up reports.

  • Communicate client requirements in a timely and accurate manner to all internal departments as required, ensuring delivery of superior guest service.

  • Maintain up-to-date activity and rate information for each account.

  • Develop policies, processes, and procedures for interfacing between 3 Sisters and all ARC-related entities.

  • Performs other duties assigned.

    Key Experience and Education Needed:

  •  High school diploma or equivalent qualification

  • Ability to read and interpret instructions

  • Outstanding attention to detail

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Safety awareness

     

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

     

  • Maintain a respectful relationship with employees, interns and persons served/clients.

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times displaying a professional disposition towards fellow staff.

  • Maintain a positive working relationship with Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc. staff and persons served/clients alike.

  •   Bring policy/personnel issues to supervision as they arise.

  • Protect the privacy of all staff and persons served/client information in accordance with Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.’s privacy policies, procedures and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with general principles of professionalism as a healthcare provider.  Failure to comply with Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.’s policies and procedures on persons served/client privacy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

  • Expected to report, without the threat of retaliation, any concerns regarding Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.’s policies and procedures on persons served/client privacy and any observed practices in violation of the policy to their supervisor.
