Robert Half Systems Engineer in Los Angeles, California
Description We are in search of a Systems Engineer to be an integral part of our team. You will be involved in designing, implementing, and managing Office 365 solutions and Azure resources, as well as providing support and training to end-users. This role is based in Los Angeles, California, and plays a crucial role in our company's success by ensuring optimal system performance, security, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage Office 365 solutions, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and execute PowerShell scripts for automation of administrative tasks and system maintenance.
• Manage Azure resources and services, ensuring their optimal performance, security, and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to O365, Azure, and on-premises systems.
• Monitor and maintain system performance, reliability, and security.
• Provide support and training to end-users on O365 tools and best practices.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to cloud technologies and system engineering.
• Work on various cloud technologies, including Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Cloud Technologies, DELL EMC Technologies, and Dell Technologies. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, and Cloud Technologies.
• Experience with DELL EMC Technologies and Dell Technologies.
• Familiarity with AB Testing and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of Automation and AWS Technologies.
• Skills in Backup Technologies, Network Security, and VPN - Virtual Private Network.
• Ability to work with Windows 11, VMware, and MS Windows Server 2012.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
