We are offering an employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the legal industry based in LOS ANGELES, California. As a Sr. Accountant, your primary role will be to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. This includes the processing and reconciliation of financial transactions, maintaining detailed records, and streamlining accounting functions. Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation of daily accounting processes by coordinating with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable clerks

• Process and reconcile daily bank transactions

• Handle high volume tracking, processing, and follow-up of vendor invoices

• Conduct data entry for client invoices in accounts payable, process check requests, and perform vendor payment and reconciliation

• Maintain consistent records of trust receipts, disbursements, and reports

• Support the implementation of firm initiatives to streamline all accounting functions

• Carry out additional projects, analysis and reporting as directed

• Familiarize with GAAP processes, including month-end close and reconciliation

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP to execute tasks efficiently and accurately.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential

• Must have experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is required

• Expertise in maintaining and handling the General Ledger is critical

• Ability to manage and make Journal Entries is necessary

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is expected

• Must be able to handle Month End Close procedures proficiently

• Experience with NetSuite software is advantageous

• Proficiency in Oracle software is desirable

• Knowledge and experience with SAP software is a plus
