Senior Tax Associate

3 Months+

Remote Opportunity (Based in CA)

Monday - Friday 10am- 6pm

$42-$48/HR DOE

About You:

• 3-5 years of experience with Tax preparation and Review

• Complex multistate industry experience is a must

• Bachelors degree in related field

• knowledge of intuit products and pro-series as a software is a plus

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and/or prepare complex tax returns on behalf of clients

• Compile supporting financial statements & documents

• Review returns prepared by tax associates

• Assist with federal & state tax audits

• Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies

• Perform tax research, staying up to date on changes

• Work closely with our Tax & Review team to communicate job status to all levels of the team

• Complete assigned projects within engagement timeline & budget guidelines

• Coach, mentor, and assist tax associates with research and questions as needed

• Oversee planning and scheduling of engagements and workflow supervision

• Lead and train teams of staff accountants throughout the engagement
