UCLA Health Senior Compensation Analyst in Los Angeles, California
Description
In the role of Compensation Data Analyst for our high-volume Compensation team, you will use your strong Tableau and data visualization skills to provide the Compensation team and managers and leaders across the organization with key metrics on internal and external pay issues, market competitiveness, and other data-driven projects. You will make recommendations that not only adhere to established guidelines, policies and practices, but fulfill our compensation philosophy of aligning our compensation with leading health systems in the local, regional and national markets where UCLA Health competes for top talent, grounds our compensation decisions in data, and helps cultivate long-term loyalty and retention of key talent. You will also be a key member spearheading special projects and providing guidance to the Compensation management team.
Salary Range: $86,900-$197,300 Annually
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or combination of education and experience
4+ years' experience in compensation administration
Advanced Tableau and Excel skills to customize and join complex data sets for large scale analyses, programs, and projects
Strong experience working with statistical data sets to include understanding regression analysis and understanding of statistical concepts
Experience working with SQL
In-depth knowledge of compensation practices and programs
Understanding of compensation-related laws and regulations (federal, state, and local), including FLSA
Advanced interpersonal and communications skills to establish rapport with a wide variety of constituents including clients, colleagues, and all levels of management
Strong writing skills to develop correspondence, procedures, reports, job analysis findings and other materials as needed
Proven skill applying a client-oriented, consultative, and collaborative approach in analysis and resolution of issues at all levels in an organization
Demonstrated success in working collaboratively with team members and achieving unit goals and strategic objectives
Skill in researching information and analyzing complex data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action
MS Office Suite
Healthcare industry experience preferred
MarketPay experience preferred
PeopleSoft experience preferred
