As the Senior Clinical Laboratory Science Specialist for Point of Care Testing (POCT), you will provide leadership and technical expertise for the Point of Care Point of Care program covering Ambulatory areas. Primary duties include providing leadership, support, and expertise on POCT, including coordination of quality control and proficiency activities, performing training and competency on testing personnel, validation of new analyzers and tests, and writing policies and procedures.

Salary Range: $60.71/hour - $78.17/hour.

Qualifications

• A minimum of four years of clinical laboratory scientist experience* Experience in Point of Care Testing* Proven experience in training and lecturing * Experience writing procedures and reports* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team* Demonstrated experience in LIS interface validation, testing, and troubleshooting* Ability to travel between clinics within Los Angeles to support point-of-care testing activities* Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam, i.e. visual acuity including color differentiation
