Job Description

Insight Global's client is looking for a Remote Data Analyst to join their team. The hiring company is in the pharmaceutical industry and a producer of vitamins and medicines for babies, children, adults, and dogs.

We are looking for a Data Analyst that will provide critical support across the organization through reporting and advanced analytics that will capture real-time actionable data to guide decision making. The primary responsibility of this position is to collect, analyze, and connect large volumes of data from disparate sources, extract insights, and identify opportunities to increase sales and improve profitability.

Responsibilities:

 - Integrate disparate sources of data and prepare high level analyses using various software programs or statistical programming languages (e.g., Excel, SQL)

 - Manage large, complex data sets and support the reporting requirements across the organization providing actionable and real-time data in a highly visual format (dashboards) to key stakeholders

 - Conduct competitive analyses across multiple sales channels and ecommerce platforms providing insight on sales trends, marketing methods, promotions/advertising, product pricing and distribution

 - Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams in preparing customer presentations and creating fact-based selling stories

 - May be required to perform other duties as assigned or as needed

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelors degree (B.A) in Business Analytics, Data Science, or Information Management, or related field

   - 4+ years in an Analyst role with experience in database management, KPI reporting, and marketing/promotional analytics

   - Must have experience in working for a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) company

   - Experience in data warehousing and importing/exporting data to a variety of databases and applications

   - Experience in using data visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI)

   - Experience with syndicated data platforms (e.g., Nielsen) a plus

   - Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (a.k.a. Navision, Microsoft D365) ERP software a plus

   - Experience with Amazon Premium Analytics, Google Analytics and Facebook Insights a plus null
