Insight Global Project Advisor in Los Angeles, California

Job Description

An employer sitting in Los Angeles, CA is looking to hire a Project Advisor to support their Pipeline Integrity Execution team. This team supports the underground inspection of pipelines coinciding with their Integrity Management team. This group utilizes smart tools and pigging to gather inspection data and to analyze and relay back to external stakeholders. This Project Advisor will be reporting to their Chatsworth, CA or Valencia, CA office(s) in an hybrid model at least x1 once a week in the office. This Advisor will be supporting the management of project timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables. He/She will assist both company employees and outside contractors in completion on their planning work while also coordinating input from different stakeholders to meet project objectives. This person will be updating the regions mapping products, pipeline schematics and technical emergency/project material-procurement and disposition. This Project Advisor will be ensuring the adherence to quality standards and best practices while also assisting with the reconciliation of job packages. This will be a full time role M-Friday, 40 hours a week. (This position is looking to pay between $40-60/hr depending on years of experience.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or related certification/education experience

  • 3-5+ years of Utility Project Assistant experience related to large scale Construction/Engineering projects, practices, and concepts

  • Experience within stakeholder communication related to project budget, timelines, schedule, deliverables, cost analysis

  • Experience assisting a team of Project Managers in planning phases of project until construction and assisting in reconciliation

  • Experience with reading and understanding blueprints, engineering drawings, and/or pigging procedures, land development plans etc.

  • Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, OpenText - Gas Pipeline Project Management Experience null
