The role involves the application of state-of-the-art bioinformatic methods, machine learning, and AI techniques to high-dimensional data to perform integrative and exploratory analysis. In return, we offer a robust environment for learning advanced genetic technology, viral manipulation, molecular biology, and behavioral analyses needed to study the molecular principles of visual function and disease. For more details, see www.yirongpeng.com. We are committed to the academic growth and success of postdoctoral fellows and are looking for highly motivated applicants to join our vibrant team.
Responsibilities:
Lead projects on developing novel analyses to study the development and degeneration of the visual system
Acquire, process, integrate, and standardize large datasets and build databases
Perform integrative and exploratory analyses of multi-omics datasets and apply machine learning methods to decipher the underlying principles
