About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Paralegal Manager to support the Secured Lending, Investment & Product Management section of the Commercial Banking Division of the Wells Fargo Legal Department.

In this role, you will:
Manage a team of paralegals to provide effective support to the Legal Department, specifically within the Secured Lending, Investment and Product Management section, supporting secured lending and investment businesses including, asset-based lending, commercial inventory finance, factoring, equipment finance and proprietary investment and related lines of business
Provide paralegal support across functions and/or business lines, and identify and resolve issues which may impact multiple business lines or the enterprise requiring a high degree of analytical, written, and oral communication and organizational skills
Work directly with attorneys and business clients and develop an understanding of business unit needs
Develop relationships with attorneys and business units and be proactive in participating in strategic efforts of client while identifying and addressing issues
Produce clear and concise advice and written materials that can be submitted to the client with minimal revision or review by an attorney
Develop processes to track and ensure quality and accuracy
Oversee the work of the team and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of tasks
Oversee research and data provided by the team, as well as the preparation of legal documentation, correspondence with clients and attorneys, and other materials, and provide relevant guidance on escalated matters
Ensure compliance with all applicable policy and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with attorneys on special requests or highly complex projects
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Legal
Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Paralegal experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
3+ years of focused practice experience in one or more concentrated areas of law, particularly:
secured commercial transactions and obtaining and retaining priority in collateral
inventory (floorplan) financing, leasing, and working capital transactions
accounts receivable purchase transactions
cross border commercial factoring transactions
Workforce management experience including directing activities of team members, performance management, career development, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skill
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work while handling multiple matters
Job Expectations:
Paralegal certification may be required in some states
Position will require onsite presence in a hybrid capacity (3 or more days in the office and up to 2 days remotely per week)

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$73,100.00 - $155,900.00
