UCLA Health Nurse Manager - Transplant and Cellular Therapies, Westwood in Los Angeles, California
Description
In this role you will be responsible for the supervision, monitoring and evaluation of the Transplant and Cellular Therapy Office staff.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordination of interdisciplinary care for transplant recipients and donors, throughout the care continuum.
Hiring, orientation, counseling and development of staff
Development and revision of office policies and procedures
Coordination and completion of reports for payors and accrediting agencies.
Salary Range: $140,200.00-$331,800.00/annuallyQualifications
Required:
Valid, CA RN License
BSN required
BLS Card from AHA or ARC
Oncology Certified (OCN, BMTCN, APHON, or AOCNP)
Ability to communicate with patients, referring physicians, transplant team members, insurance companies, governmental agencies, hospital staff, and other groups in a professional, diplomatic manner over the telephone and in person
Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Previous experience in working with health care professionals in a health care setting
Preferred:
Minimum of 5 years of transplant /cellular therapy experience
MSN preferred
Previous management experience
Previous experience as a transplant coordinator
Working knowledge of resources within outpatient and an acute care medical center with commensurate ability to refer individuals to appropriate departments
