Description

We are looking for a dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to deliver expert clinical are in our Magnet™-designated neonatal ICU.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Mattel Children's Hospital is a 22 bed ICU that provides regional level III/IV care. Our NPs are responsible for in-born and out-born infants requiring tertiary level care derived from the Greater Los Angeles area and the surrounding regions. There is considerable depth in all the Pediatric Medical and Surgical Subspecialties that are all available including an on-site congenital cardiac program, an ECMO program, an HIE Cooling Program and a widely respected infertility and fetal diagnostic program

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center, is a 16-bed Level III NICU which provides community-based care for term and preterm infants with a variety of medical problems and is part of a comprehensive program of women's and children's services.

Salary: $85.20/hourly

Qualifications

We're seeking an independent, compassionate and skilled advanced practitioner with:

Master's degree in nursing with a neonatal nurse practitioner specialty - Required

National board certification as an NNP - Required

BLS, PALS and NRP certification -Required

CA RN and CA NP license- Required

DEA with Schedule II - Required

2 years experience as a NNP in a Level 3 or 4 NICU- Required

Ability to work at both Westwood and Santa Monica Hospitals - Required

Computer proficiency with MS Office - Required

Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills - Required
