The best women’s hospital in Los Angeles is looking for current RN candidates to staff Operating Room, Emergency Department, Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby care units to be housed in our expanding new patient tower facility scheduled to open next year. To process all patient, personal, medical, and legal requests in a timely manner.
Process all legal, personal, medical and physician requests in a timely manner.
Prepares all charts for copy service.
Retrieves medical record numbers and information requests from computer.
Answers phones, assist patients and other customers at the front desk for appropriate authorization and other requests.
Retrieve and request, requested medical records from storage.
Maintains guarded file records updated at all times.
Process all civil and criminal subpoenas.
- High School Diploma.
Minimum Work Experience:
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Must be able to work in a union environment.
Medical terminology, knowledge of data entry, understanding of standard analysis, final check, and chart assembly.
Two years in an acute care hospital setting or related field preferred.
Preferred Work Experience:
Required Licensure, Certification, Registration or Designation:
- Current Los Angeles County Fire Card required (within 30 days of employment).
Salary range is based on years of experience: $28.66 - $31.94 Per Hour
