Robert Half Information Security Director in Los Angeles, California

Description

We are seeking an experienced Head of Information Security to shape and lead our firm's cybersecurity strategy. Reporting to the CIO, this key role involves managing a dedicated Information Security team and collaborating with senior leadership, including top partners and the General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the firm’s cybersecurity strategy in line with business objectives.

  • Lead and mentor a team of security professionals, ensuring continuous learning and improvement.

  • Oversee security operations, including EDR, SIEM, IAM, DLP, and vulnerability management.

  • Ensure compliance with regulations (ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA) and manage audits and assessments.

  • Communicate cybersecurity risks and strategies to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

  • Foster innovation by staying current with cybersecurity trends and best practices.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Security, or related field (preferred).

  • Industry certifications (CISSP, CISSM).

  • Strong experience with cybersecurity frameworks, legal environments, and client guidelines.

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
