HR/Payroll CoordinatorApply (https://usc.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/ExternalUSCCareers/job/Los-Angeles-CA---University-Park-Campus/HR-Payroll-Coordinator_REQ20110755/apply) Roski School of Art and Design Los Angeles, California
First founded in 1887, the USC Roski School of Art and Design is noted for its richly varied and innovative programs that emphasize studio art, design, and critical and curatorial studies. The school provides a distinctive environment that allows undergraduate and graduate students to move fluidly across media and disciplines. The Roski School, ranked #1 in Design and #4 in Art programs across the US at www.niche.com , offers BFA and BA undergraduate degrees in Art and Design, as well as three graduate degrees—MFA Art, MFA Design, and MA Curatorial Practices and the Public Sphere, as well as (relating to the latter MA), a joint Master of Arts in Curatorial Practices and the Public Sphere/Master of Urban Planning degree with the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, and a Performance Studies Graduate Certificate.
Our programs are constructed with powerful areas of overlap, including some shared core courses, offering students a unique ability to explore histories, theories, and broader definitions of making, curating, research, and teaching.
The Roski School has three campuses—our undergraduate classrooms on the main campus; BFA and photography studies in the IFT building adjacent to main campus; and a vibrant downtown-adjacent campus (with the graduate programs, including the MFA Design, now residing in the downtown Arts District).
USC is the only major research university in the United States whose commitment to the arts is expressed in a wide spectrum of six arts schools, as well as two art museums and two classical radio stations. The campus is host to hundreds of events each year in the visual, performing, and other creative arts, and through its Visions and Voices series, USC brings dozens of world-renowned artists, designers, dancers, musicians, scholars, ensembles, and collectives from around the globe each academic year to present their work to USC faculty, students, and the broader Los Angeles arts community.
USC strongly values diversity and is committed to equal opportunity employment. In a continuing effort to build a diverse community and to provide equal educational and employment opportunities, the Roski School actively encourages all qualified applicants, including members of historically underrepresented groups and those who have had experience with diverse student populations.
