Description The Recruiter is responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, from identifying staffing needs to sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in sourcing, interviewing, and evaluating applicants while maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers and department leaders to ensure efficient and effective recruitment. Key Responsibilities: Sourcing Candidates: Use various recruitment tools (job boards, social media, recruitment databases, networking, and referrals) to identify potential candidates. Maintain a pipeline of talent for both current and future hiring needs. Cultivate relationships with colleges, recruitment agencies, and external partners to expand the talent pool. Screening and Interviewing: Review resumes and applications to shortlist experience in candidates. Conduct phone screens and initial interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit. Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Provide timely feedback to both candidates and hiring managers. Candidate Evaluation: Evaluate candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit within the organization. Administer skills assessments and conduct reference checks as needed. Advise hiring managers on candidate selection and provide guidance on hiring decisions. Offer Management and Negotiation: Prepare and extend job offers, negotiate salaries, and finalize employment agreements. Ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance to onboarding. Data and Reporting: Track key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-permanent) and provide regular updates on recruitment progress. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of candidate interactions in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Employer Branding: Promote the company’s culture and values to potential candidates. Assist in creating and updating job postings to reflect the company’s brand.
