BECOME An EXTERIOR CLEAN SUPERVISOR!

Our Exterior Clean Supervisor will lead a team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of aircraft exteriors. This role involves scheduling and coordinating cleaning operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards. The supervisor is responsible for training and guiding staff in the proper use of specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals, and for monitoring team performance to ensure both efficiency and thoroughness. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with maintenance and operations departments to integrate cleaning activities smoothly into airport processes, while also managing administrative tasks such as inventory control and reporting.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A EXTERIOR CLEAN SUPERVISOR

  • Oversee and direct daily operations of exterior aircraft cleaning teams

  • Implement and monitor cleaning schedules to ensure timely service for aircraft

  • Train and mentor cleaning staff in effective cleaning techniques and safety procedures

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure high-quality cleaning standards are maintained

  • Coordinate with ground operations and maintenance teams for efficient workflow

  • Manage the use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies

  • Enforce adherence to safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment

  • Address and resolve any operational issues or personnel conflicts in the team

  • Keep accurate records of cleaning services performed and report any discrepancies

  • Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations to cleaning staff

  • Liaise with airline representatives and airport authorities as needed

  • Develop and update standard operating procedures for aircraft cleaning

  • Monitor weather conditions and adjust cleaning schedules accordingly

  • Ensure compliance with environmental guidelines for waste disposal and chemical usage

  • Promote a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement within the cleaning crew

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and high performance

  • May be assigned other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Eligible to work in the United States

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents

  • Ability to use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices

  • Effectively communicate both in-person and through electronic means

  • Pass a background check and drug screen

  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)

  • Ability to work any day/shift, including holidays, within a 24/7 operation

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY/WORKING CONNDITIONS MAY INCLUDE:

  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

  • Prolonged standing and walking in an indoor/outdoor environment as applicable

  • Must be able to push, pull

  • Must be able to crawl, at times in confined tight spaces

  • Must be able to bend, stretch, squat

  • Must be able to work at elevated heights

  • Exposure to moderate and at times high noise levels

  • Exposure to Biohazards and/or Chemicals

  • Exposure to outdoor elements

  • Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms

  • Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers

  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
