SHI Enterprise Regional Solutions Director in Los Angeles, California

Job Summary

The Enterprise Regional Solutions Director is atechnicalpre-sales managerwho is customer-and partner-facing.This rolesupportsa team ofengineers whose focus is onbringingthe right technical solutions to meet customer needs. The RSD will coach, train,and be involved in customer meetings to move the process forward and actively close deals with the team.

Responsibilities

_Include but not limited to: _  

  • Engagingwith multiple layers of contacts within aclient’sorganization, including but not limited to CIO, CTO, IT Directors,andApplication Managers, to sell, build relationships,anduncover opportunities.

  • Collaboratingwith sales teamsto helpclose dealsby speakingtothe technical side of recommended solutions.

  • Developingthe region/territory based on strategic account planningthroughcollaborationwith sales leadership and extended ASG team.

  • Engaging the Local Technology Community (MFGsand SI Partners) and theappropriate customertechnical personnel toestablishmarket credibility.

  • Strategicallytrainingsales teamsonthepositioning of company solution practices,ensuringthatthey understandcustomers'ongoingenterprise needs.

  • Monitoringemployee performance and attendance records, actingon performance issues in a fair and consistent manner,providingactionable feedback,anddrivingemployee recognition.

  • Executing SHI Sales Methodology and strategy with direct reports, sales counterparts, partners,and customers with Regional Sales Teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum5years in a Pre-Sales Technical role

  • Minimum 5 yearsworking in complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security,and Network sales opportunities.

  • Experienceworking with enterprise technology organizations (Dell/EMC, HPE, Cisco, VMWare, AWS, Microsoft, Palo Alto, Customers,etc.) and knowledge of the competitive ITlandscape.

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience

  • Advanced knowledge of servers, storage, cloud, security, networking,and virtualization and their business impact

  • The positionrequires up to 35% travelto meet businessneeds

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $180,000 - $275,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
