The Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy is seeking a dynamic and experiencedDivision Admissions Manager.This individual will oversee all aspects of the Division’s numerous enrollment services and processes. The ideal candidate will provide vision, supervision, implementation, and evaluation of effective, student-centered recruitment and selection strategies for our Doctor of Physical Therapy program, Master’s in Sport’s Science, and Doctor of Philosophy in Biokinesiology.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Recruitment and Retention Strategies:

  • Collaborate with program directors to create and implement applicant recruitment and retention strategies.

  • Identify and develop marketing messaging and opportunities to increase program visibility.

  • Design and execute Division-specific recruitment and retention events.

Admissions Oversight:

  • Oversee the regular review, evaluation, and reporting of admissions applications, credentials, and prerequisites.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, University, and accrediting body regulations regarding admissions policies and procedures.

  • Administer the Division recruitment scholarship program in collaboration with program directors and the Scholarship Committee.

Collaboration and Liaison:

  • Collaborate with the Division’s Admissions Committee to select and recruit exceptionally qualified applicants.

  • Liaise with central admissions and communications offices, as well as third-party vendors, including online program management corporate partners.

  • Represent the Division’s academic programs at Division, University, regional, and national recruitment events.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze data regarding recruitment, application, and admission processes to inform strategies and improvements.

  • Oversee the planning and design of the enrollment services research agenda and recruitment calendar.

Applicant Interaction:

  • Meet with individual applicants as needed to provide guidance and support throughout the admissions process.

Supervision and Operations:

  • Supervise all unit staff and daily operations.

  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with the university community and program directors.

  • Embrace and advance a holistic admissions process that promotes a diverse applicant pool.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in admissions administration, preferably within higher education.

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

  • Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the admissions process.

  • Willingness to work weekends and travel for recruitment events.

The annual base salary range for this position is$102,520 - $120,000.
