Overview

THE ROLE:

Responsible for leveraging data and analytics to generate actionable insights for the key account management center of excellence strategies.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

• Design and implement comprehensive research and analytics projects that support key account management objectives, including account segmentation, account performance analysis, and market trends.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Key Account Management Leads to capture data and insights that drive strategic account planning and optimization.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide ongoing insights into account health, customer behavior, and performance metrics.

• Lead initiatives to improve data collection methods, analytics tools, and insight dissemination processes within the Account Management CoE.

• Communicate findings and strategic recommendations to senior management, the commercial office leads and account managers to advise decision-making and strategy development.

• Improvement in account performance and customer satisfaction scores based on insights-driven strategies.

• Increase in the efficiency and effectiveness of account management processes through data-driven optimizations.

• Successful implementation of research projects, as measured by the timelines, accuracy, and impact of insights delivered.

• Leverage the Insights from the Field with AI Tools like Copilot

• Data and Business Analytics and Insights Teamwork: Work closely with the BI and AI department to leverage technology and data architecture that supports sophisticated analytics and insight generation.

• Cross-functional Engagement: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and the Commercial Office teams to integrate and analyze data from various sources for a holistic view of customer and account insights.

• Stakeholder Communication: Regularly engage with the VP, Account Management CoE, and account management teams to understand their needs and provide insights that support strategic initiatives.

WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT THE TEAM:

• The team has a clear strategy to improve sales by strengthening relationships with key distributors through tailored solutions and support based on data-driven insights and CRM tools.

• The team's key account managers provide one-on-one support to distributors, using analytics to bring insights and understanding their DMOs, finding opportunities, and looking to improve their business performance and goals.

• The team's mission is to empower key distributors to achieve their full potential by providing personalized support and solutions based on data-driven insights and tools.

• The team has strategic objectives to strengthen and sustain trust-based relationships with key distributors, collaborate with them to create and execute joint business plans, and mobilize resources to support their goals.

• The team has programs like 'Growth Path' to help distributors achieve their next level in the marketing plan by providing personalized and data-driven guidance.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of sales, key account management, strategy or business intelligence management experience.

• Expertise in data analysis, market research, and generating actionable business insights.

• Proficiency in analytics tools and platforms, with the ability to translate complex data sets into strategic recommendations.

• Strong project management skills, with a track record of leading analytics projects from conception to execution.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate insights and influence strategic decisions.

Education

• A bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA is highly desirable.
