UCLA Health Credentialing Specialist in Los Angeles, California
Description
The Credentialing Specialist role
involves recommending, developing, implementing, administering, coordinating,
and/or evaluating Academic Human Resources policies, labor contracts, statutes,
programs, and procedures covering one or more of the following: academic
recruitment, appointment, and advancement; compensation and salary
administration; faculty welfare programs; visa procurement; benefits; payroll;
training and development; faculty misconduct; and faculty equity.
Salary offers are determined based
on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience,
and equity. The full hourly salary range for this position is $30.56 - $60.82.
Please note that the department's target hourly pay range is $30.56 - $45.69.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Basic knowledge of and ability to apply / interpret organization and college policies and procedures which govern academic HR.
Knowledge of organization, college and departmental formal and informal policies and procedures and understanding of variances to stated policies.
Analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations to Chairs / unit management.
Demonstrated organization, problem solving, and communication skills.
