Description We are seeking a Controller to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the accounting department, including payroll, and handling day-to-day human resource issues. You will be working in the telecom industry, contributing to the management of financial activities and providing financial advice to the management team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and train accounting staff, fostering a supportive and efficient work environment.

• Oversee all aspects of the accounting department, ensuring tasks such as payroll and human resource issues are handled promptly and accurately.

• Prepare month-end closings, ensuring all financial records are up-to-date and accurate.

• Oversee the accuracy of physical inventory, working closely with project managers and other relevant parties.

• Work with project managers to ensure the percentage of completion invoicing on large jobs is being billed correctly.

• Handle corporate reporting of Sales Tax and workers compensation audits, ensuring all reports are accurate and submitted on time.

• Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants, taking necessary action when required.

• Provide financial advice to management, contributing to strategic decision making.

• Prepare job cost analysis, allowing for efficient budgeting and resource allocation.

• Collaborate with the CPA on tax filings, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.

• Utilize skills in Month End Close, Annual Physical Inventory, Sales Tax, Financial Statement, Audit - Financial, Job Cost, Accounting management, Payroll, and Billing Statements to perform the above responsibilities effectively. Requirements • Must have experience in Month End Close procedures

• Should possess knowledge in executing Annual Physical Inventory

• Experience in handling and processing Sales Tax is required

• Must be proficient in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements

• Experience in conducting and managing Financial Audits is necessary

• Knowledge of Job Cost procedures is essential

• Should have skills in Accounting Management

• Must be adept at handling Payroll processes

• Experience in preparing and managing Billing Statements is required
