USC WorkWell Center (WorkWell) , the University’s long-standing workforce wellness program, is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to join their team. The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the employee assistance program that serves faculty and staff with counseling, management consulting, executive coaching, critical incident response, and psychoeducational talks and trainings. This new position will assist in the organization and delivery of services and activities specific to a clinical department. Provides support for WorkWell’s Director and Associate Director of Clinical Programs. Provides specialized expertise on database management/reporting, compliance, credentialing, scheduling, clinic flow and design, onboarding, and event planning.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Oversees staff calendars, schedules meetings, and maintains office equipment and supplies. Coordinates with relevant university offices to ensure medical staff and medical provider readiness for services, and monitors effectiveness of processes and services. Recommends and implements modifications as necessary to achieve goals and objectives.

  • Tracks the onboarding of new faculty. Ensures licensure and credentials for all assigned faculty and staff are up to date and required training is completed.

  • Participates in the development and implementation of program policies, procedures, and processes.

  • Researches and gathers data for ad hoc reports. Conducts preliminary analysis of data. Recommends report content and format.

  • Assists with public relations and the development of marketing strategies to promote clinical services. Coordinates outreach efforts (e.g., conferences, seminars, health fairs) and the production and distribution of promotional materials.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The university reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

  • In the event of an emergency, the employee holding this position is required to “report to duty” in accordance with the university’s Emergency Operations Plan and/or the employee’s department’s emergency response and/or recovery plans.

Supervises: Level: May oversee students, volunteers, agencies and/or resource employees.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Public Health, or related disciplines.

  • 4 years’ experience with all levels of employees.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment that prioritizes excellence in customer experience.

  • Ability to set priorities and work efficiently with a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced, changing environment where crisis response is an expected part of the job.

  • Demonstrated experience handling sensitive and confidential data and knowing limits of confidentiality and mandated reporting laws for mental health service provision.

  • Database management and data reporting/analysis experience.

  • Ability to gain strong knowledge of all that USC has to offer its employees in order to refer to other assistance when appropriate.

  • Ability to identify and solve problems creatively.

  • Demonstrated excellent analytical, oral and written communication, and critical thinking skills.

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with a variety of partners and stakeholders, at all levels of the organization.

  • Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) certification; or willing to be certified within one year of hire date if not currently CEAP.

  • Preferred: Bilingual English / Spanish.

T he hourly rate range for this position is $25.73 - $ 34.50 .
