As BEO Chief of Staff , you will be directly reporting to the VP of BEO and responsible for effectively mobilizing the leadership team and broader organization against the team charter. The successful candidate will have the ability to think strategically across the company and effectively develop key processes, procedures and communications that facilitate business execution. This position requires extensive cross-group coordination at all levels, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated mastery in strategic storytelling using analytics and insights. The Chief of Staff will coach and advise the BEO leadership team around operational issues, participate in overall strategy decisions and partner in business execution across our global organization. We are looking for self-starters who can work in a rapidly changing industry, embrace ambiguity, and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.


  • Set and drive the strategic agenda for the BEO leadership team as both an independent and key contributor to decision-making.

  • Serve as an effective business partner, working closely with and across BEO, Enterprise Operations, Industry Solutions Delivery, the Field, Finance and HR to ensure business rhythm requirements are met with high quality.

  • Lead BEO fiscal planning processes and investment strategies, in alignment with Division needs

  • Manage the Chief of Staff team including business management, financials, people/talent rhythms and communications functions.

  • Lead the organization in culture creation including developing a holistic people development plan.

  • Create cascading group communications roadmap and rhythm within BEO and with other groups; drive internal communications from Exec and Leadership team (e.g., Share Point, All Hands, Exec Communications) to make sure staff and stakeholders are informed and aligned against business goals.

  • Drive individual/special initiatives as required by Exec and Leadership Team (LT).


Basic qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in consulting, customer success, finance, or operations management in the technology industry.

  • Executive presence and influence strategies, as demonstrated through open and confident expression at very senior levels of engagement.

  • Demonstrated translating business strategy into operational frameworks, processes, and rhythms.

  • Skilled in translating ideas into clear, high impact communication

  • Strong combination of financial, product and business operations capabilities

  • Organizational agility and credibility – strong influencer

  • Balance of technical and business strategy experience and acumen

  • High personal accountability for self and others

  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding established goals.

  • Strong cross-group collaboration skills to access creative solutions in a highly complex, fast-moving business.

  • Experience collaborating with multiple teams in remote locations to drive initiatives at scale.


  • MBA or advanced degree

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft field organization

  • Financial/P&L management strongly preferred.
